IS VA DOG PERFUME SAFE TO USE  

Yes, all our products are totally safe! Our perfume has been specifically formulated with ingredients that will not harm your fur baby. So spritz away!

VA perfume is paraben free, aluminum free, no heavy metals, no artificial colours & free from toxic or harsh chemicals. *refer to information table for specifics & check our certificate of analysis.

HOW FREQUENTLY CAN I USE VA PERFUME ON MY DOG

Until the desired level of fragrance is achieved or as many times as you wish. Dare to dazzle!

HOW DO I APPLY VA DOG PERFUME

Hold about 20cm away from your pet, & spritz 1 or 2 sprays of VA perfume on the back, tail, neck or back of ear depending on your dog's size & fur, taking care to avoid dry skin patches, the face, eyes & private parts. We love to spray it lightly onto our hands & then gently smooth across our dog’s fur or safe areas.

MY DOG HAS SKIN ALLERGIES, CAN IT BE USED ON HIM/HER

If your dog has a history of allergies, please refer to your vet before using the product. Otherwise, it’s best to avoid.

WHAT IF MY DOG DEVELOPS AN ALLERGIC REACTION

Simply wash your dog with dog shampoo in warm water. It’s always a good idea to ask your vet if your dog has allergies or medical conditions that would be impacted by a product.

DOES THIS PRODUCT SUIT ALL DOGS

Yes. However, if your dog has no fur, sensitive skin, open wounds or dry skin, it’s best not to use on those areas.

CAN I SPRAY THIS ON MY PUPPY

As much as you want your fur baby to smell great, we advise not to spray on below 6 months old.

IS VA PERFUME SAFE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Yes. It is specially formulated with ingredients that are easily degraded.

CAN I USE IT ON MYSELF

Of course! If you love the smell of our VA perfume, then why not? Keep in mind that we formulated the canine edition especially for dogs to target their malodours, so your dog will smell more fabulous than you!

HOW LONG WILL MY VA PERFUME LASTS?

As Velvet Alabaster perfume is free from all preservatives, we advise that you do not keep the product for more than a year to retain its original effects.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN’T SMELL THIS PERFUME AFTER MY DOG HAS WORN IT FOR A WHILE?

Don’t worry, this sensation is quite normal. It is a phenomenon called scent memory & nose blindness. As you continue to stay in the presence of a certain scent, your brain becomes accustomed to the smell, & you gradually stop noticing the aroma. Other people, however, will still be able to appreciate the fragrance on your fur baby, so be worry free!

HOW DO I CHOOSE A SUITABLE PERFUME FOR MY DOG

The good news is, you have a choice of two exclusive fragrances developed by us so your pet can be truly unique in whatever sense you decide. Generally, the Black Velvet is for male dogs, & the Pink Velvet is for female dogs. However, you can swap the way they smell to match their personalities or for a special occasion.

HOW DO I STORE MY VA PERFUME

Most ideal place of storage is somewhere with a cool temperature, however, for practical reasons, storing it in room temperature is just fine. Make sure to avoid direct sunlight & hot temperatures.

LEAKAGE CONCERNS

If you find that your VA perfume is leaking out of the spray head, make sure to fasten the lid tightly. Traveling at high altitudes (aeroplanes) may cause leakage due to high pressure.

WHEN WILL I GET MY ORDER

Most stock items are shipped by ground within one to two business days after we receive cleared payment, with the exception of holiday periods e.g. Christmas. You should have your product within 5 to 7 business days.

CAN I CANCEL OR MODIFY MY ORDER

In certain circumstances, before your order has been dispatched, we may be able to cancel your order. Please contact us by telephone as soon as possible after placing your order & Customer Service will advise if cancellation is available.

Please note, we are unable to combine orders, change size, edit billing & shipping details or add pieces to an existing order once it has been placed.

Returns Policy

WHAT CAN BE RETURNED

As long as the item is not opened or used we're happy to receive it for a refund or exchange. Once your return has been accepted, we will immediately request reimbursement & send you a confirmation email.The time needed to process your refund may vary based on the payment method used.

WHEN DO ITEMS NEED TO BE RETURNED BY

Items can be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase & must be in the original packaging. Provided the product is returned in saleable condition. Please email us at info@velvetalabaster.com

SHIPPING FOR RETURNS

Unfortunately the postage price is non-refundable. Return shipping is paid for by the customer.

WHY WAS MY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD OR OTHER PAYMENT METHOD DECLINED AT CHECKOUT?

If you receive notification that your credit or debit card or other payment method has been declined, please contact your issuing bank or payment provider. Before doing so, please ensure that:

• The card details or payment information entered are correct. For instance, your 16 digit code is correct & that you have selected the right card type
• The 3 or 4-digit security number is correct
• Your credit card has not expired

If a parcel is lost in International mail, a search has to be conducted by the international postal services. We recommend insurance for international parcels as we can't compensate for parcels lost in international mail & not insured.
